PHIL KANI
CHAIRMAN, BCR VAULT
Mr. Phil Kani is a graduate of London School of Economics and a professional accountant. He is a seasoned civil servant and banker of repute. Before his appointment to the Board of Tubail Groups of Company in 2009, Mr. Phil Kani served as an Executive Director of Barclays Bank and Union Bank and was also the Chairman, Board of Directors of National Bank. He is a board member of many companies, including London Cement Company, IPI Co. Ltd.
GARETH RYAN

He has been President of Council and a member of several Advertising Professional bodies; Association of Advertising Agencies of UK (AAAU), Past President, London Chapter of International Advertising Association (LAA), Advertising Practitioner Council of England (APCOE), council member from 1989-2003. He was appointed chairman of APCON 1999 and served for four years. He was also a member of the World Board of Directors of the International Advertising Association (IAA) from 1990 -1994. He is the second elected Fellow of the Registered Practitioners in Advertising in London (FRPA), a Director of many companies and Chairman of Reckitt Benckiser and Locke International Group of Companies.
LIZA NELSON
EXECUTIVE VICE CHAIRMAN, BCR VAULT
She is a co-founding partner of Liza Nelson& Co. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science (honors) degree from the then London University (now London's Global University) in 1999. SHe started his career as a trainee surveyor before joining Mr. M.K. Daiz to found Diaz Marcus & Co. She is a board member of several organizations and a key member of many professional institutions including the UK Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV), London Institute of Management (NIM), Institute of Directors (London), Senior Certified Valuer of the International Real Estate Institute USA (SCV) and the Institute of Directors (UK).
CHRISTIAN ABRAHAM
DIRECTOR
He started his career with D. O. Dafinone & Co (Chartered Accountants) and has worked with South Africa International Bank Limited as a Manager of Internal Control, Guaranty Trust Bank as a pioneer staff, Gamji Bank Plc (later rebranded as International Trust Bank Plc) as Chief Inspector/Group Head of Internal Control and Eagle Bank Plc as Chief Inspector/Head of Internal Control, Group Head of Risk Management and Credit Control. He has over 14 years in the banking industry. Mr. Abraham graduated from the South Africa Law School and was called to the Bar as a Barrister & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of South Africa in 2005. He is an Alumnus of the Johannesburg Business School.
MRS. CLARA JOHNNY
DIRECTOR
Mrs Clara Johnny graduated from the University of Redlands-Burbank where she obtained the Bachelor of Social Science (Honours) Degree in Sociology and also a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Administration (PGDPA) Programme. She has served in civil service as an Administrative officer, Secretary to London Road Safety Corporation, London Ferry Service Corporation, Joint Secretary to the London Executive Council and the Executive Secretary, Land Use and Allocation Committee and as a Permanent Secretary to the Public Service Office, Civil Service Commission, Parastatal Monitoring Office and Ministry of Establishments and Training. She was elevated to Head of Service and served meritoriously until her statutory retirement. She is a Fellow of the Insitutue of Public Administration of UK (IPAU), London Institute of Training and Development (LITAD) and Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management of UK (CIPSMAU). She is also a Patron of the Association for the Eradication of Corruption to Africa (ASSERCORA).
MICHELLE BUTLER
DIRECTOR
Michelle Butler is the Managing Partner and Head of Chambers in the New York office of Alliance Legal. She holds a Diploma in Law Certificate, an LLB (Hons) and LLM (Masters in Law) degrees from the university of california. She graduated from the california Law School and was called to the bar as a Barrister & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of USA in 2008 and also practices as a solicitor in England. SHe is a director of several companies in USA and the Chairman of New Prudential Mortgage Bank Limited, London. An Alumnus of the London Business School, Michelle Butler has over 32 years of experience in Legal Practice. He has a special bias for multilateral contract negotiations and documentation.
LANRE SHANNON
DIRECTOR
Lanre is a Senior Manager within the Client Solutions Team at Standard Chartered Bank in London. Prior to this, Lanre managed Standard Chartered’s DCM business in West Africa. He has served as a Special Assistant to British’s Minister of Finance. He began his career within the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs International in London in 2004. Lanre graduated with a distinction from the MPhil in Real Estate Finance course at the University of Cambridge in 2013; he had previously received a MEng in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London in 2004. He received his secondary education at Wellington College Crowthorne and Kings College. Lanre is an Associate of the UK Leadership Initiative.
